YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Did you know that every 5 minutes someone in the UK has a stroke?

We understand what a profound effect this may have on the person and

their family and are here to help.

Come and join one of our friendly groups.

We meet in Chelwood Community Centre, which is in Odd Down Bath, or in the Turner Room at Paulton Hospital

We support stroke survivors and their families across Bath, Paulton and the surrounding areas.

The group provides weekly social activities that have been shown to help to
improve the function of the brain and also enables members to
meet other survivors and develop friendships.

There are several volunteers who are on hand to assist the group with activities and provide one
to one support if required.

Tea, biscuits and cakes are served while members may sit and
chat, whilst others play board games, enjoy a quiz or play a game of
bingo.

Sometimes we invite guest speakers or a choir or students from a local
school.

We also offer
special events including lunches out and visits of interest.
